10 keys for communicating benefits

As a benefits leader, one of your top priorities is engaging your people in their benefits. And you only get that with communication.

Through our research and work with large employers, we’ve identified 10 key components of effective benefits communication. Our 3-part ebook series, Unlocking Successful Benefits Communication: A 10-Key Framework Every Organization Needs to Get Results, was launched last spring, and hundreds of organizations have already used it to bolster engagement.

Now, we’ve consolidated the series and are offering the 10 Keys as a single, digital ebook. In it, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create the foundation for driving engagement
  • Take a marketing approach to benefits communication
  • Align the right resources—budget and partners
  • Maximize the lessons learned from case studies with tips for applying the information right away

Inside the Ebook

According to results from the Integrated Benefits Institute’s 2015 CFO survey, 34% of CFOs agree that health benefits play an important role in achieving strategic goals—including attracting, retaining, and engaging talent—and reducing their company’s benefits spend. Benefits also help employees better manage their health and become more informed health care consumers, the survey found.

All benefits leaders know that benefits are an important part of employee engagement. But many HR pros are wary of investing more in communication, because they’re uncertain about the approach to take. Using the 10 keys we outline in our ebook, organizations of all sizes can create a path to truly engage people in the right programs at the right time.
